After five successful seasons Wardell Crutchfield has been informed that his services are no longer required and has been let go as football coach at Duarte High School.(read the article at www.midvalleynewsonline.com)
The dreaded "we want to go in a different direction" seems to have reared its head again.

ReplyDeleteYOU Know Crutch took a lot of heat on the football threads and blogs for anything and everything. Barba probably kow towed to a few parents and administrators for the typical BS. The bottom line is he won and the players respected him. He brought valdidity to a Duarte program that was a joke only a couple of years before. Watch Duarte football drop out of sight- Knight Rider
